WHY WE CHOOSE FEE PAYING SCHOOLS

At iKhethelo Children’s Village and Lily of the Valley Children’s Village, education is not an add-on — it is central to our mission.

We believe education is the most effective way to break the cycle of orphanhood, poverty, and long-term dependency.

South Africa’s free education system is under immense strain. Overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and inconsistent outcomes mean that vulnerable children are often the first to fall behind.

Our response is intentional and costly — but necessary.
